It’s the wonderful world of weekly MotM Patreon updates — “the sequel”!
If you’re receiving this, it means you’re a backer at the $25+ level and have unlocked weekly bonus buffs/trolls to bestow upon the cast of Masters of the Metaverse (if you haven’t checked it out yet, go for it — we’ll be right here when you return, and this will make WAY more sense if you’ve watched the show. Seriously: WAY more sense). Yesterday, you should have received a message letting you in on the $10+ weekly bonus/troll option. Today, it’s time for the upgraded version!
Each week, we’ll post a poll listing each cast member (as well as the GM). For each vote a cast member receives, they’ll gain access to a one-time bonus pool of “shielding” to use during the next episode (with that bonus pool equal to “number of votes they received multiplied by 10”). When they take damage during the show, they’ll subtract from their bonus pool first: think of it as a temporary overshield or similar mechanic from a video game.
For example, it could go like this:
Aquamarine (10 votes) –> gains a bonus pool of 100 points of shielding for the next show
Crash (6 votes) –> gains a bonus pool of 60 points of shielding for the next show
Jebediah (8 votes) –> gains a bonus pool of 80 points of shielding for the next show
Jenika (7 votes) –> gains a bonus pool of 70 points of shielding for the next show
Rosie (9 votes) –> gains a bonus pool of 90 points of shielding for the next show
GM (5 votes) –> gains a bonus pool of 50 points of shielding for the next show
