Fan Supported Media
This group is called 'Dead Gentlemen Fans'. I think I'm a fan of DG, on the grounds that I'm definitely a JourneyQuest fan, and -- as I understand it -- the aforementioned mortified peeps provide the artistic content for this epic (as ever, happy to be corrected, if wrong).
However, I see on the foot of the avatar (/icon) for this group, to wit:
the legend 'Zombie Orpheus'.
So now I'm confused. Again. So, what else is new?

Zombie Orpheus administrates this site and created all of the groups within: this is the official Dead Gentlemen Fans group. It will likely make more sense once Dead Gentlemen has a chance to brand and skin the group with their unique style.

If you've seen Gamers, Gamers:Dorkness Rising, or either Demon Hunters film, and you like those, then you're a fan of DG. If you don't like any of those films (or any of the associated shorts, or Dead Gentlemen Presents sketches, etc) then you might ONLY be a fan of JQ and not DG. In which case, :P to you. If you've only seen JQ, then what are you doing reading this? Go rent or buy the Gamers and Demon Hunter films and enjoy!
DG started as a group of friends in college with some shared values that then decided to make a film. A few of us saw this first film and wanted to be part of it all and just as DH2 was finishing and Gamers was starting to film those of us who had joined in got together with the inital peeps and created a film production company. A variety of setbacks in trying to get the film industry interested in supporting/promoting/distributing our first fully-funded flashy feature film led to DG getting stuck in the mud for a couple of years during which one of our fearless leaders developed the ideas for JQ while another developed ZOE.
Now DG is getting back on its feet and stepping in to work with ZOE on more projects in the future. We've added a few more people to our ranks including the talented casts and crews of G:DR and JQ and shed some financial and business-structure burdens and are looking to bypass most of the problems we've had in the past by going Fan-Funded For the Forseeable Future of Filming, unlike our First Fully-Funded Flashy Feature Film. For Fun. Freely. Forever. Fabulous!

I kept thinking - I've gamed with those guys! You did the best job ever of capturing the best and the worst of gaming - all of which make gamins so much fun. WAFFLES!

Glad I found this group as I am a huge fan of Dorkness Rising and JourneyQuest. Lol makes me feel semi normal knowing there are others out there like me.
