So here are my thoughts on the Alpha Chapters of Demon Hunters.

Alpha I was infiltrated and completely destroyed by the Order of the Infernal Scepter in Demon Hunters: Dead Camper Lake Alpha I was a world spanning Brotherhood Demon Hunting team composed of the mightiest Hunters.  But because of the DCL incident it was determined that Alpha I should have more direct oversight by Heaven and so has become, in its reformation, more of an internal affairs unit policing other Brotherhood chapters.  (ooc: this makes sense since Alpha I is the DG themselves and so are in fact monitoring the activities of all other chapters).

Since Alpha I has been taken out of the direct fight with evil (except in the the most dire of circumstances) Alpha II was formed and placed near Alpha I's base of operations in the Seattle area as a counter balance.  Not so close as to create friction but close enough to thwart another DCL situation.  And vice verse if Alpha II was compromised.

(lets face it.  Only the presence of Gabriel, a former Alpha I Leader made it conceivable that an Omega XV team could have defeated the Order of the Infernal Scepter the first time.  We were just plain lucky)

So what do you all think?  Does this make sense?  Thoughts?  Comments?

I like the idea, the Brotherhood obviously needs a watchdog to prevent another disaster.
